TR is one of my favorite places on the web. I also like the clean look of the site. It’s quite readable on both my laptop and desktop. I’ll have to wait until I return home to try it on my iPhone and iPad. Gads, I am such a geek.

I wish all of you the best!

@Jack: We were thinking about Patreon, but I actually like the idea of donations going directly to individual writers without any middle people – not even me. Chris and the others will be getting 100% of what people give. I myself will not be asking for David donations, since I don’t want to compete with the writers. David

Nate, good luck with TDR. And Teresica, I’m sorry about your own Google hassles. I’m confident we have plenty of company.

I do understand what you mean, to some extent. I have a few websites left that I really didn’t want to abandon, and one is many thousands of pages large with tons of outdated links from ten years ago and longer. It’s been a bear trying to update and remove those links, and over the last year, I’ve been dealing with Google telling me how mobile unfriendly my site is, even though I started using a “handheld” style sheet back in 2003, before mobile was even really a thing to worry about. But mobile changed and I didn’t, and now the site is being penalized quite heavily for how mobile unfriendly it is in light of new mobile standards. I’ve converted to static HTML (from the database driven site I built myself) and pretty much decided to leave it as is. You definitely have my sympathies and understanding.
